isnt there a haynes one out there, that look like the side of the car has been peeled away and you can see all the mechanical bits??

I like the idea of that!

it defo exists, i promise.

Do you mean the X-Ray Classic Mini?

The Foxton New MINI fleet use vinyl wraps based on this artwork:

no not those two, its cream and looks slighty mor simply than that, as if the sid of the car has been peeled away.

You should contact 'Roofless' he has done a lot of stuff and can do wraps, give him an idea and he'll design you something, I bet he would be able to do the Haynes Mini wrap.

I'm sure he'll be on here soon

the haynes mini 'wrap' isnt actually a wrap - its a series of individual decals applied on various panels.

much easier to do than a wrap, and leaves the air gaps around panel joins that can be problematic on classic minis when wrapped.

:mrcool:

We can do wraps, but it is very complex on classic minis, and expensive, and bodywork really must be in tip-top condition prior to application.

modern wrapping vinyls are actually very easy to apply, and dont leave air bubbles behind due to the very clever way that the adhesive works.

what I am finding though is that the price of standard colours are going up, many colours are being dis-continued, carbon effect is getting much much cheaper, and most of the metallics have been dropped completely.

the 'domestic' wrapping scene hasn't taken off like people thought it would, its a passing fad that will disappear quite soon I think.
