Mine did it just over 9 secs. now about 10 as the old head cracked. because its PHAT

sooo i take it your 998 has had thousands spent on it, and has a fairly high ratio final drive, and the shell is as light as possible? otherwise i think not! my 1293 puts out 85 bhp and can just aout manage it in 10 seconds. my old mini had a 998 in and would just about manage 0-60 in 19 seconds. i blew it up, suprisingly. i smell something here...

I always thought 0-60 was all about tourqe and not power :(

and it was very cheap, compared to what some of you have spent!

Standard 1275 cooper, LCB manifold with RC40 (decat) and it does it in 10 seconds

This seems a bit of an odd thread to me.

How are any of the times are accuratly timed up to 60 mph. With the spread of wheel sizes, diff ratios etc how accurate are your speedo's ???
