Unless you got realy big thighs
or you use smaller piston master cylinder.
All depends on how you want the pedal to feel as without you will have to provide the force that you narmaly use and then also that what the servo provided

Tis the way to go, you can then select the master cylinders to give you the right pedal feel you're after :cheese:KAD do a brake bias front to rear could be worth a look a bout half way down

Personally I'm not a fan of servo brakes on a mini, and for a car a light as a zcars all it's going to do is loose the feel of the cars handling.

A servo dosen't improve the braking, omly reduces the effort on the pedal.

Also, think of the weight reduction by not having a servo!
There are plenty of fast motors out there that don't have a servo for the brakes, I reckon a mini stops fine without a servo (unless you find pressing the pedal really hard).
My mates Lotus Elise doesn't have a servo and that stops just fine!

I like the idea of the bias padal box as i had one on my escort mk2 and it gave no trouble at all. But i think it is a bit of overkill as my mini will be used on the road mainly so i dont have a clue what it cost but i would estimate £150 upwards plus the cylinders at £25 each. I think i may just fit a new mini master cylinder but will i still need the valve assembly that is bolted to the bulkhead and can i use the one i already have or is it for the servo assembly only? That's one for guessworks????????KAD do a brake bias front to rear could be worth a look a bout half way down
Cheers Mark :wales:
ps does anyone know how much the KAD padal box is? and will it fit my servo type pedal assembly?

No, i already got one of them along with the servo unit from my 97 cooper. For a pressure valve... about £80 I believe.
I meant the Kad pedal box, simple plumbing, no valves etc.
