The rear hoses on both my minis are Goodridge and though they are tight they are not that bad.

If I get chance tommorrow I will measure the lines. Both of mine have a yellow plastic band on the hose not red as your picture, but this may not be important.

Just use nice standard rubber flexis and avoid all this hassle - and Danger if the hoses being supplied are too short!
