In my opinion - Don't even think about it, the engine bay is hot and the waxoyl will Never fully set (it never fully sets anyway, maintaining a flexible layer that can still bend in the case of stone chips etc) it will drip and make a right mess.
And the interior is the LAST place you want waxoyl, for the same reasons as above, It doesn't set hard, it will make a right mess, and in the summer make a right stink. you will regret it severely.
Use some stonegaurd /chassis black on the engine bay and use something like hammerite under the carpets.
Waxoyl is for inside box sections, the underside of a car, and perhaps the reverse side of panels,.. but not engine bays and not interiors.

Do not waxoyl your engine or your interior of the car. As long as it doesn't get wet inside it shouldn't rust away. Just check all your floors are dry, you could stone guard it but generally it should remain ok inside because once carpet is laid down nothing can really damage the floors. My carpet has been on since new and underneatht the floors at the back are like new
As for your engine, as the person said above it will get hot and melt and it never actally sets. It sorts of stays wet ish so that rust can't creep in! The engine bay gets very hot so the last thing you want when driving a long is the smell ect ect. Especially in the summer, it would be awful!

It's also incredibly flammable stuff, the last thing you want inside or in the engine bay. I've known people put it under the carpet which just makes climbing in and out of the car lethal as the carpet moves when you try to stand on it. Seriously, don't even think about it. It's a serious fire risk.

Yeah that's very true. As the person above just mentioned, if your engine was to set fire for example... and fire soon spreads. But... if you put waxoyl all inside the floors ect you have to think about how quickly it would make the fire spread. You car would be ash in seconds, not a good idea. We aren't shouting at you here!! Just hopefully gives you an idea of how dangerous it could be
Like I said before, you should be fine if you keep the floors dry inside. By all means, underseal/waxoyl underneath your car ect but just not inside engine bay

You could put some in the bottom of the rear bins and inside the central cross member where the seats mount. While these places could count as "inside", as everyone else has said, nowhere else, and if you do this wipe off any which spreads across the floor with some white spirit on a rag.

A little off topic, I know of someone who "painted" the inside of a halogen lamp to stop it from corroding
it was on for about 30 mins before it detonated itself across his yard...... very very dangerous, as the waxoyl heats up it gives off a flammable vapour which could suddenly ignite

Yeah it's ok doing it in the door bins ect, because they do rust there. But nowhere else
As if he put in their haha, I bet that was a bit scary! I undersealed my car last year before the winter, it also keeps it protected from stones ect. Stone guard stuff
Also it made my car sound nice and quiet driving a long, although I don't like it being quiet! I love how Mini's are loud!
I was thinking about this today when I was driving my Mini ... and if the engine set on fire and you had sprayed/painted the waxoyl inside the car too, it would go up in flames in seconds wouldn't it... and it's not really a big car so if you think about it, it would be pretty scary to be inside the car. That's something to think about.,
