Back from the dead!!  I love this install.  I want a countryman just so I have enough room to do this.  Hahaha

Just found this as I think about developing my install and have made a very important decision...I no longer need a spare wheel.  I need one of those subs!

Please please please share where you got that amazing central tweeter mount?!

I've been looking for months.... But no luck :(

Unbelievable build, thanks so much for sharing.

I’ve still not found anywhere that makes something remotely similar.

I tried to make one... failed miserably.
The tried and tested cardboard aided design didn’t quite have the flexibility or rigidity to slot in the ashtray hole.
I unfortunately Don’t know anyone with a 3d printer.

Blue tack on the tweeters just doesn’t cut it, knowing there’s something as perfect as this tweeter holder out there in the wild.... this keeps me up at night 😝

A few years have passed and I still come back to this build for inspiration. Has anyone made the above holder yet?

If you’re looking for the tweeter setup I’ll model one tomorrow and print something up if you’d like. I have my mk1 so I can get the measurements from the ashtray. Should be a pretty easy model to make.
