The only way to do it properly is if you cut a coil out and weld the bottom on but thats a pain to do and shouldnt really do it.
And they were going round a roundabout and the spring popped out and ran someone over
Well if they advise not to cut springs im thinking it will be just as dangerous to cut them and then reweld them!

I think u should roller paint it black cut the srpings so she sits 2inches off the floor and cut the back box back peice out then drill holes in the air box.

I'd be very interested to know how you cut the springs down on the metro.....

How is it that you cant afford to fix that yet you've just got yourself something a whole lot more modern which i would assume would be more to buy and even more to insure. If they are welded properly its better but still not great

Cant wait
Edit: a quick search on ebay is turning out prices of in the 8-9k reigon. How is 8 or 9k cheaper than what it would cost to fix that...

Had a 1987 GLX, the snow killed it off, cam belt snapped,at the best it was just a new belt et al. , at the worst new piston and valves! so i just scrapped her! pretty sweet cars they will NOT corner well, permanent squeal. but they are indestructible..crashed mine into a crate of wood, and it was fine..just got a bumper from a scrappy and jobs a goodun!
