my mate had one, for 12 hours, then we slid into a tree on some ice, lol, didnt do too badly, so quite a strong old little car. just out of interest how old are you and whats the insurance like??? ill need a cheap runaround for the winter... thanks

I think u should roller paint it black cut the srpings so she sits 2inches off the floor and cut the back box back peice out then drill holes in the air box.


We did it to me mates metro was funny as (mind u got condemed by the plod after 3 days lol)

I would NEVER cut springs
SO SO SO SO DANGEROUS
I know someone that cut theres and they campe out and they endedn up killing somone

ANd they aint that dangerous if you do it properly and take time to think about it, and how you can hold them in place ect...

Erm.. yes they ARE dangerous. There are different types of spring, you can get away with those which have dead coils, but on any other type, it is a big nono and very dangerous. Don't go giving wrong and dangerous advice, I doubt you'd want it on your conscience if someone killed themselves or someone else as result of your advice.
