Just packed mine up on a trailer, he's off to the welders followed by the MOT man.

I ordered black ally trunnions from DSN Classics, black ally handbrake quadrants from Specialist Components and all my rear subby bits form Mini Spares.


Not a cheap Monday.

The E-clips? I've always had them go straight on too. I'm sure soon I'll have an awkward one!


I started cleaning my headlining with some AG interior shampoo. So awkward but it looks a lot better, it was dirty!

First day back to school... slightly broke down three times on the way and ended up having to leave it at the side of the road. My dad came to save me though and even managed to get it back home, which I was glad about seen as it absolutely hammered it down at lunch.

Just picked it up from the Garage after having a freshly 1275 bored +20th dropped in it, mmmmm zooooom

Got 2 days of work so today ive:

Sanded and primed the bulkhead ready for paint.

Got the rear wiring loom out which was a swine to get out the door frame.

Put black top coat on the rear drums and top arms ready to fit tomorrow.

Put the cam followers, cam shaft and oil pump in the new 1330cc.

Also found out that I'll need to redo most of the wiring and that the seat tunnel isn't attached to the floor pan

Not bad for a days work.

Looking forward to getting the head and subframes finished tomorrow.
