Attempted the cylinder head again but ran out of time as leaving for work in a bit. Also went to a few shops looking for a 9/32 spanner and failed. so brakes still need bleeding! :(

Got it MOT'd.

Straight through pass, no advisories.

Going to get my adjustable lower arms on soon, and at the same time probably put four new ball joints on as I've already got them, and then pretty much the entire front suspension will be refreshed, with everything new apart from the top arms.

I turned mine back onto its wheels after a 3 month process of welding, undersealing and subframe renovation. Definitely worthy of a mention. I then went for a joyride as my mate pushed me round the yard. hahah

Had a go at bleeding up my clutch only for the slave to pack in completely (despite getting bubble free fluid from it) and the pedal being even softer than before and no working clutch. So ended up “borrowing” the working one off the project mini to fix the daily, still its not the first time…

Fitted new rear light lenses, as well as the plastic chrome strip which goes between the bonnet and the chrome on the bonnet, as well as trying to adjust the bonnet so it sits right, but such a pain! So much trial and error! >_< Gonna give it another go tomorrow.

fitted a Mountney leather 12" steering wheel - now I can see how fast I'm going but cant see how much fuel I have or how hot the engine is!
cable tied the front grill to make sure it cant fall off.
degreased the engine bay so I can be sure its the rocker cover gasket that's leaking oil on the drive.
re-attached a broken wire to the coil - strange but it made no difference the car still ran just as well.
Found and replaced the radio in-line fuse, now I just need to find the radio security code.

Drove about a bit

Easily done if you get the first 2 in sideways on one side leaving plenty of room for the 3rd to drive in normally.
