Nothing, had to walk past and have a lift to and from work. Busy weekend ahead building a complete new loom, after mine went into meltdown on the way home last night. Too much of a hybrid install to get an off the shelf loom, as an electrical engineer it should be straightforward, just lots of patience required!
Losing ignition at 60ish on an A road is a worry, smoke from the dash is a panic!

All sorted. Lots of damaged/burnt cores in loom. Didn't have time to wire complete new loom as too until 13.00 today to get the car running. Quick test drive, and she's performing like her old self, much stronger and smoother at bottom end.
In other news, slightly cooking the brakes while being dragged home has got them working lots better!

Got the Mini back from the body shop, very impressed with the results!

I took it apart again! And gave its cylinder head to MRA minis to fix! Miss driving her already

Started to build up the front subframe....it's starting to come together

I finished off spraying the new cylinder head.
Sprayed the rocker cover for the third time!!
Sprayed my heater valve.
Attempter to bleed the brakes.. Failed as i dont have a 9/32 size spanner for the back.
So thats now tomorrows job as well as removing cylinder head and refitting new one!

made a list of what i want and need for the mini went ah then looked at how hard it would be to take my engine out and went ahhhh
then dad said it ws going to rain tommorow and i dont have anywere to store it once its out other than the drive

Rolled it at Rockingham yesterday so today started stripping it down ready for fixing. Oh well keeps you busy I suppose.

Had a bath in my radiator water.

I undid the temp sender forgetting water would piss out, warm, stale, rad water doesn't taste too good. Doesn't anti-freeze kill too? haha
