Changed a wheel bearing in the bloody rain only to find the play in the hub is exactly the same as it was before.

Nothing, had to walk past and have a lift to and from work. Busy weekend ahead building a complete new loom, after mine went into meltdown on the way home last night. Too much of a hybrid install to get an off the shelf loom, as an electrical engineer it should be straightforward, just lots of patience required!
Losing ignition at 60ish on an A road is a worry, smoke from the dash is a panic!

Drove along and wondered why when I pressed the washer switch, the rev counter needle dropped down to zero. Then it mended itself :P .

visited mini spares, potters bar. spent some more money. new showroom and trade counter. looking good even though theres nothing to see. just painted walls but the lights look good. simon should have been giving out free coffees and a guilded tour of the workshop...... then give away free stuff........................only joking. anyway least my wipers will keep the rain off the screen.
