Cleaned it all ready for Mini in the park!

Will be cleaning parts and painting parts to go on to my new shiny subframe
And fitting coil springs on the front.

fitted rear fuel tank and finished boot end wiring. modified the parcel shelf and put in rear window.

fitted windscreen wiper motor ect

break master cylinder and servo in and plumbed up and then pained all shiny steel bolts in chassis black.

Very productive day

Cleaned, panted and fitted the front tie bars, springs, and hi-lows, as well as cleaned up the hub carriers.

Got round to fitting the parts I’d bought at mitp to fix the 25s pretty much appalling brakes and few other little petty items.
So I swapped over the disks and pads only to find one of the callipers had partly sized, still with a bit of work I’ve managed to free it off again. Just bloody annoying as I’ve not long sold a pair of callipers with brand new pistons I “thought” I wouldn’t be needing anytime soon.
Still at least now I can actually lock up the fronts before the rears do, unlike before when the fronts were dong pretty much nothing and only the rears would lock. Just a pain I’ve also now found out one of the front bearings needs doing as well.

Yeah thanks, not as big as I first thought however. Still got the misses mini to go in there. Its on the drive at the moment with the Audi on the street. Its a good useable space, but would have preferred it to be slightly bigger
