Fitted my new carpets finally ( bought them 6 months ago)
Then found out that there was a classic car show in a park near me and my sister in law said there was loads of Minis
Turned up
Nobody bothered to mention it was even on until 7pm aaaaaaagh!
But at least I've got the carpets fitted.

Rolled it out of the garage. First time in months. Ordered some spot weld drill bits before a fresh start this week

My mini is off the road just now with cylinder head problems so yesterday I took some of the ancillary's off the engine including the radiator and shroud for painting. I have a replacement head for it but need to wait on the gasket kit to arrive so I can fit it. The weather is so nice just now and I'm mini less. Bloody typical :D

Yay!, got two of the stat studs out after hacksawing the stat housing off. Drastic measures, but it worked. Got the stud extractor on the last one, and it snapped just below the head line BOO!!!! Now I need to either drill it out very carefully or leave it to a pro??

Over the weekend I discovered that I need new ball joints and brake disk shield covers.

But on a positive I changed my first set of plugs and leads, and gave the K&N a good clean.

Took it on a track day at cadwell park  was overtaking vauxhall vx220's :) although it was leaking oil almost as quickly as I could put it in. Need to refit the gear link oil seal I think, so there is tomorrows job.
