Today i painted and fitted group 2 arches and fitted newton commercial carpets.

Ripped up the soggy carpet to revel some suspect footwel rust, needs more investigation, and then I made it go a zillion times faster simply by attaching a 1380 badge to the back

gave it a wash, and shammy, and hoover out in preperation for L2B, fitted the roof rack, and started cleaning a spare to go on roof rack. Might polish it in morning!

Bloody showers, in and out like a fiddler's elbow with my grinder. Bit done but not worth an update !! Oh, primed my steering rack, painted accelerator pedal and stripped and cleaned the gearchange selector box ready to paint, (I know i will not see it but getting a little carried away now, lol)

Started on fitting her new A panels and installed the 6x9s and speaker board. Also went to look at my mk1 golf I will be getting soon

Managed to get the engine out 
although made a rookie mistake and forgot to take the bolt out of the gear selector steady so was trying to lift it for 20 mins before realising DOH
