Yesterday had a day off so spent the afternoon putting the engine bay back together. All my nice new shiny painted parts. Only to realise I left the nut of the bottom of the servo. Bugger. :)

Yesterday I fitted the rear exhaust mount as the old one snapped, fixed the washers, welded up the floor, glied the CV gaitor and fitted a pair of new subframe mount bushes, and finally, brought a lovely green sheet home from the garage. >_<. Today I drove him to college in love with the tone of the exhaust/induction as you can hear it now it's not blowing. Now need to wash and polish him before the weekend.

Took it for a trip over to Mini Spares in Oldbury to buy a stage 1 kit. Sat Nav gave me a surprise towards the end of the journey when it decided the country lanes would be the best route back, so I got a good blast on those >_<

Fitted new shock absorbers the other day too, they seem to be performing quite well. Stage 1 kit should be on at the weekend
