Walked past it in the garage to valet my daily, that reminds me.... I need to check tyre pressures and fluid levels. Since its tune up by Jim Wilson (local AC Dodd trained specialist) all I've done is a little tweak to the off choke idle speed (was a touch too low and was on the verge of stalling) other than that its great, starts first turn and will do 1k miles in a day if it has to lol

 

Where is Jim Wilson based please?  My Mini was meant to be tuned by someone who knew what they were doing after I'd run in the new engine... in 2014... it runs nicely but I suspect it has a bit more power to give.

I bought a nice new Yuasa 063 battery for my Pickup.

Readjusted the exhaust clamp - forgot to reconnect the accelerator spring and started it up, went all the way to redline for a few seconds. Definitely not my best day

Finished fitting 7.5" disc conversion - From drums (Did take me 2 full days)

Fitted new pot joint

Fitted new 5/8" rear cylinders, longer wheel studs and spacered drums

 

For another day I need to finish fitting arch extensions and check tracking before test driving

Oil and filter change ahead of a trip out to the Scotch Piper tomorrow for classic car night

Jacked up and on 4 axle stands so I can replace and upgrade the fuel pipe system next weekend

Repaired the fog light bracket and the drivers seat diaphram. Also, tapped out a small dent on the rear bumper. How that happened I don't know as it's been stored in garage for months!

Tried to get flywheel off. No success so far. What a ******* job.

Took my flywheel off due to oil getting past the primary gear bush and onto the clutch. KAD flywheel puller makes mincemeat of getting the flywheel off, serious piece of kit.
