You don't need this App to resize on an Apple Mac Desktop/Laptop, you just import into Photos app and export at Low Res or custom size. Simples.

Ordered a corbeau seat that hopefully won't send my arse to sleep after 15 minutes. Looking forward to fitting that with some rubber AV mounts as well

After getting my car the day before Christmas Eve today was the first chance for me to start fettling. I had a tune done last week and unfortunately the carb has been butchered and the distributor is fubared so that will be addressed in the next few weeks with replacement parts. On a positive note I adjusted the rear brakes (first time working on drum brakes in over 40 years!) and handbrake, I also fitted some new seatbelts but even that was frustrating due to some bodges. Hey ho, that’s classics for you I suppose. 

 

I’m certainly no mechanic but even those small jobs gave me great satisfaction and I’m busy reading my Haynes manual and trying to learn about auto electrics as I prepare to tackle the next jobs.

Swapped it around in the rear garage for the new look going forward this year. Started up first time and purred. Although, I think i'll put doing the tappets adjusting this year on the list.

Started taking the engine out of the clubman estate ready to fit the 1275.  The 1100 will go back in when rebuilt with FT pistons and a new unused 12g295 head I picked up.

Went to the post office to tax the Mini at the huge cost of £0, I filled out a v62 form whilst I was there to make it Historic, there was a woman behind me in the queue who pulled up in a big Lexus 4x4 which would have been quite a lot to tax & when the post office lady said to me you're now Tax & MOT exempt her face dropped, it was a picture

The battery finally died through lack of use

Got a nice new Duracell 063 DA44 on line from Tayna Batteries - ordered at half four yesterday, arrived at half eleven this morning  Hopefully it will put up with the (lack of) abuse it will get
