drove it nearly 500 miles back from glasgow, took about 9 1/2 hours, with no problems!! i did stop to refuel quite a few times, then gave it a well deserved wash. motorways are dirty places and black shows the smallest amount of dirt!

Washed it, Painted rocker cover, and air filter lid, and insured myself on it.

Tommorow, I'll be stripping the paint off the rocker cover, washing the engine, and repainting the rocker cover in maybe, a slightly LESS bright red engine paint.

^^^^^^ Very nice!! :D

I did three ball joints this evening starting at 2000 when I got in from work.
I'd have done four, but I ran out of shims.. :(
Tomorrow, I'll take apart the old ones from the front drum hubs and steal those.
And I must remember to do the lock tabs (!!). Didn't want to do any hammering after dark.

I cleaned, polished him, then I went over the scratch with t-cut and it half came out as the other half is down to the metal.. Now I'm waiting for my dad to get back with the petrol pipe so I can fix his fuel leak. I also got a spare set of keys cut and a new number plate

He's been in the garage all day today, being fitted with a stage 1 kit  I'm a tad nervous that the mechanics will not set up the mixture and timing correctly, but i'm getting the car back at about 6 this evening, so fingers crossed the kit will be making an improvement on performance...

took it to the spray the garage to be spray a new colour, grey with black roof today! After a member on here promised it will be done in march over a period of ten days and left it at his unit for six weeks untouched and didnt answered my calls. Afte 3 weeks i went down there, nothing done, after another 3 weeks, still nothing done. Why couldt he just say he had to much work on. I could of used my car in that period to go to car shows and days out, better still it could of been booked in else. Anyway cant wait now. lol
