Put my bonnet on from SC parts, what a pile of poo and wish I had fitted it to see how bad it was before I wasted my time painting the poxy thing.
Got to find a good condition MPI one now.

To it nothing but brought a pair of mini jet black seats (front) black with red piping bit dirty but hoover sorted that out needs a thorough clean as someone has decided to put a large velcro strip on the drivers seat but i wasnt gonna let the scrappy claim them so mine for £20 bargain i thought also just got my red inertias in the post front and rear set of a metro turbo i think ? but these will be a brilliant addition with my black and red themed mini !!!

Stripped down the front subframe of all the runing gear and painted it blue.

I went to see her in the bodyshop, new front end was welded on & roof painted.

Hopefully the rest will be painted & finished thursday or friday

I just bought a new one from South lakeland mini centre £138 + vat

Took her for MOT, except advisory on bottom ball joints (an hours work and what, a tenner, and that's done) she breezed it

Finished tubbing my drivers side rear arch, hope this weather stays and i'll get it primed and painted.



Then onto the passenger side, grrr.

Tried to fit my under slung stereo bracket without success, fiddly little b*stard!

Bought my supplies to install the stereo and cigarette lighter.

looked at fitting a renault intercooler to the mini, when i get that far

Painted rear valence, sills and front valence with hamerite! Resprayed speaker shelf and finished off my interior

drilled some spot welds out in the half hour i had before work, the cut off the passengers scuttle corner really must get myself a corded drill :/

took it appart and drilled some holes.

Fitted a block of metal and put it back together again

MOT passed FINALLY!

Brakes are pants right now though and it's steering to the right. The tester said the shoes are brand new except I've had the car since last April and not fitted any. :\ He said to drive about 300 miles to bed them in. I've driven about 7,000 since I got the car. They felt fine before I fiddled with car and now they're just poo. They did bleed and adjust them but still crappy.
