Hammered & swore at removing the LCB y-piece.
Think I need to see if Mr Angle Grinder wants to come out & play.

I fitted plastic front arch liners from mini spars today. I was really impressed with the fit, needed a bit of fettling but for a non gen. part they’re great.
I’m hoping they protect the front end from the dreaded tin worm for many years to come!!

Wish I had owt to report, but due to lockdown restrictions I've not seen my car since last Oct! I hope it will start once I can return after restrictions are lifted.

Think she'll definitely need a good wash 'n polish as a minimum!!

Had the carb apart to see why the car was difficult to start after a  week or so. Everything looked fine, nice and clean and debris free, the only thing I found was the choke didn't seem to be coming on fully so I adjusted the cable and boom started first time. The last time it was out was the MOT back in December when we wound the mixture back as it was running a bit rich, maybe this was disguising the the choke only being half on - we'll see in a few days when I try it again.
