Yesterday I spent all day starting to convert my van into a mini transporter. And today we will hopefully have it almost finished. May even start it as a project :genius:

Nothing on mine today, but this evening we fitted the new centre oil pick-up to grandson Cooperkid's gearbox, then fitted the block onto the gearbox followed by the transfer gears and transfer gear cover, then primary gear and 'red' oil seal. Couldn't fit the flywheel as I've run out of verto flywheel bolts and I forget to get some whilst at Mini Spares today. Then we fitted the new front bumper and new rear number plate.
A good evenings work.

Replaced the gearbox oil seal, timing cover gasket and oil seal, and the rocker cover gasket.

Here's hoping that's stemmed the leaks!!|

yesterday i dropped my new block onto the gearbox in the kitchen then nearly put my back out getting it through the kitchen, into the hall and lifting it over the front door step and onto the drive.

Just dropped my head off at a machine shop to get hardened valve seats fitted. Going to be a bit more than an exchange head but didnt want to pay the surcharge or loose my GT head buying one off the shelf.

She is all coming together and looking forward to driving to IMM.

Whilst I was working in the garage my personal shoppers, i mean friends, were at brooklands show picking me bits up
