It just replaces the existing electronics inside and is easy to fit
I haven’t tried it on the car yet as the engine is out (hopefully putting it back in tomorrow
But it has been checked and calibrated using instruction that came with it, so should all be good

Modded cover with extra breather, cleaned and sprayed for my spare race engine
Last week I found an early rocker cover which had that type of breather as standard. I might fit it onto my 1990 Cooper road-rally car sometime. You can't have too many breathers.

Adjusted the offside rear drum brake whilst the rear was on axle stands (waiting to fit Maniflow exhaust).

Started stripping the gearbox I re-built for my troublesome 1293 engine as I was having problems selecting 1st (had to go to 2nd then 1st to get it although not graunching) I presume it's not a baulk ring issue so will be checking selector.

Had the poser of inserting the Clevis pin and spring clip into the base of a clutch master cylinder I had just overhauled.
Having the problem with similar on the brake master cylinder solved the problem as follows,
took a 6 inch length of copper brake pipe and hacksawed 1|2 inch down at right angles to the end, opened up with a small screwdriver, placed spring clip end on in the slot and clamped it tight in the vice.
Lay across the car and inserted into end of clevis pin, depressed clutch to hold pin tight and. Moved copper tube lateral to release grip.
Quickest I have ever done one
