Fitted new rocker cover gasket and oil filler cap . Not much to most of you but at just 48 years old I’ve got arthritis in my hands, so without help most jobs are impossible. So today is a good day

-Welded up holes on the RC40, mainly for weldig practice.
-Painted and rebuilt radius arm with new backpates, shoes, hoses and pipes.
-Replaced front to rear both fuel and brake line - Home made pipe straightner working well
-Taken out handbrake cables, waiting for new one.

Made the 300-mile journey from the south coast to the lake district in *relative* comfort... I never thought a 998-powered Mini would make such a good motorway cruiser!

Removed and cleaned out the remote gear casing. The amout of grease that was in here!
Aslo the rawlpin was on its way out!
Bushings worn so a lot of slop. Going to replace. You can see in the bottom photo how thin the front busings is compared to the rear.
Might adapt a rodend for the alu "eye" or just use the ball as the plasic one on the end of the lever is a bit janky.
