Trying to understand how brand new gaskets with brand new hinges can be so badly shaped...Attached File  Screenshot_20200702-164659_Gallery.jpg   14.59K   3 downloadsAttached File  Screenshot_20200702-164657_Gallery.jpg   15.13K   0 downloads

I've read your other thread, I can't help but think it's something relatively simple, but out of the ordinary.  Might be 2 or 3 little things.  My advice is don't sell it, but rather, find 2 or 3 knowledgeable Mini-types that are near by.   Buy an appropriate amount of beer (1 case per person in my neck of the woods), and plenty of whatever food customarily goes with beer in your location, invite them over and let nature take its course.   If they are knowledgeable Mini-types your problem will be sorted before much of the beer is gone.   If not, they will be calling their resources.....   at least that's how it works here in the sunny south of the USA.

But, in keeping with the topic of this thread, my Mini has plagued me for 2-3 years.   It had an intermittent EI module.....  I know that's unheard of, but it would always run for a few minutes then quit.  Sometimes the module would test good, sometimes it would test bad......   I replaced it with a new unit and my problem "appears" to be resolved.  The PO installed the wrong coil, I believe that eventually did in the EI module.   Tomorrow there will be a test drive.

Replaced the needle and gave my carb a good tune while visiting the girlfriend's parents in Downton... now it runs like a dream and I guess you could say I now own a Downton tuned mini? ?
