i got the whole front end cut off, the rh front floor pan and lots of rust, patches made up for the areas where i cut out rust and cut everything to size to be welded in tonight

Got a new set of brake shoes, cylinders and sill trim. Fitting them all tomorrow.

Finished stripping the interior of the car, just a driveable shell now with drivers seat, dials and steering wheel, all ready to go off to East Anglian Mini centre next saturday for a full refurb, sand blast, replace old panels and respray

i split the valve on my wheel when washing it this morning so now have take the wheel off to get it fixed as i dont have a spare

Brought some new oil (£60 for 6 litres!) nearly able to start fitting my new oil cooler now!

Results? i eyed up the position of some bonnet straps
Got 70.9bhp at the fly, with torque peaking at 74 lb/ft, with it only dropping to a minimum of 62 lbft
Dont think its bad, for a low mileage rebuit metro 1275, with 266 cam and stage 1 kit. Just need to change my k+n and cylinder hear, and should be seeing nearly 80
