Fitted a wired by Wilson headlamp relay kit. Great piece of kit and much safer way to operate headlamp circuits with the 4 fuses and 2 relays. Very pleased. Then spent a few hours with a tub of poor boys alloy wheel wax and gave the wheels a once over.

No sc-em. I've ordered the full drum to 7.5 S disc conversion.

Aye. A good idea.

I have put the back of my Mini on the jig ready to do the front later in the week and was given a nice Cooper S (I think) tacho by my mate. I came with an Autotune Gemini he has bought.

Why are my photos always sideways? :mmkay:

Took the Mini over to Ben at Mill Road Garage to replace the drivers door and some other minor bits, it was nice to see the Mini in good company with 3 other Minis in the workshop

Fitted a replacement LH top arm with new bushes and pin. This replaced an arm which had a 10mm damper shaft as a replacement for the 3/8" UNF. The 3/8" one snapped on a rally in 2004 and now that I have bought the car back I have put the arm back to standard size.

Also completed the re-skinning of the LH door, sorted some dents in the RH door and the boot-lid.

Next job is complete paint prep and re-spray the car. Then fit the 7.5" discs and replace the lower arm and tie-bar bushes, steering rack gaiter and inner drive shaft gaiter.

It's coming on well now.
