Finished my interior. I took my time over it, wanted to get it right. Converted & rewired the dashboard, fitted new wheel, fitted all new seat covers (complicated job on these later seats), door cards, door furniture. Result, I think!

 

 

 

 

This is amazing! I may make my interior like this! will go perfectly with the planned yellow paint job.

MOT passed, no advisories. Only did 600miles in the last year!

Last weekend did a small service.

Changed oil and filter.
Changed brakes all round.

Swapped hilos for standard trumpets all round, now for some reason my Mini is sitting 1 inch higher on o/s or 1 inch lower on n/s....

Thought it might need to settle a bit but nope, after about 150 miles it's still the same so may be looking into this at the weekend.

Also discovered 3 small holes in the floor under where the crissmember is so need to sort that before Mot time next month...

Might be going back on if I can't figure out why it's uneven.

Took it out for drive. smiled a lot, came back home put it in the garage and thought nahhhh go out for another drive. I had it up for sale but after driving I have taken it off. it noisy, slow (but feels fast) but crikey its fun.

Took the mini for mot. Failed on wiper jet block. 2 minutes to sort. Well done Elmo mini

Okay. Just let me know.

 

Carried on dismantling the rear end ready to remove the subframe and then attach the rear jig, prior to doing the front. Before that I checked and cleaned/copper eased up the brakes on my BMW GS. Nearly ready for the summer.
