There's oil in it, the dipstick registers as happy.

Its playing with my mind!

The back of the engine is covered, maybe it's the diff outputs.

I think mine's the diff output, too. Does yours leave a puddle if you park for about 5 mins and make the roads colourful and pretty in the rain like mine? :D

Mines same wont see anything on floor for a while then a few drips, i know my gear selector seal needs doing and maybe a diff output seal and maybe timing cover to lol so not to many things to do.
going to wait until change oil in a few months as its not like seeping out all over the place yet!!

I think my dim dip relay is broken, my lights stop working after about 30 min time to try find a new one.....

i cant work on mine at weekends-its locked up in the workshop so i cant get access, i do work on it every weekday afternoon with the school car club. the ripping apart bits almost done, its looking at next week to start the cleaning, replacing & put it back together stage.

today ive fitted new clutch slave and braided hose took the fly wheel cover off replace the bearing and cleaned up all moving parts . also fitted rear shocks and found my wheel cyilinder was leaking so ill do that 2mora along with grinding the arches for clearance on the front wheels then if all goes well mot monday

drove my clubby down the road for the 1st time in years ;) brakes STILL need bleeding more though even though theres no air :)

Replaced the throttle cable yesterday with the correct cable this time, following the guide in the latest Mini Magazine. Still confused to all hell with that clip on the throttle and the nipple on the cable. But if it works...

Found out the hard way just how much metal I had to file away from the adjustable read camber/ toe brackets to get the Elf anywhere near right.

Fitted new earth strap and poly bushes to top engine steady, fitted new drive belt and also changed coolant and fitted new expansion tank.

It's been a busy day working on the Cooper Sport.

replaced all the brake flexi hoses, fitted new shockers. fitted new clutch slave and now (8pm) fitting brake master repair kit.

Fitted the front bumper, mkI cooper grill and moustache, refitted the bonnet and fitted securing 'springs', fixed the horn and started componding the paintwork. It's ready for it's first MoT in 5 years now I think :thumbsup: :)
