While it was on the ramps I took a few cheeky pics.
!2 months after the engine re-build and not a drop dripped - it's in danger of going rusty under there

I got a few more bits and pieces done to the Traveller last night;
Fitted custom made door pocket switch panels (crinkle black as well for extra retroness)
Fitted Morris Minor door pulls
Fitted Morris 1800 grab handle
Fitted custom boot board / spare wheel cover securing latches
Got original 3.5" Cooper S steelie rubbed down, masked and first coat of OEW ready for sanding

I drove it on the road up to an indicated 60mph. This is the first time the car has been driven for 10 years and the first time I've driven a Mini since 1983. Nostalgic or what?

Took my car to Beaulieu with the newly self built 1275 mg metro motor, didn't miss a beat well chuffed! Parked next to the Elf belonging to the couple from Miniworld magazine.
