Yesterday I did a well deserved oil and filter change after doing over 200+ faultless miles there and back on the London 2 Brighton mini run over the weekend, without any problems! It's back in my front mini garage now upon the next summer show.

Refitted my carb after Burlen sent me a throttle disc for a HS6 rather than HIF44 . Also received my V5 back 6 weeks after sending it off ... I got it back last friday as well but they only changed the engine number so still said 998 not 1293

Watched from my flat window whilst a family member of a neighbour bumped their Lexus door into my Mini's door. Not impressed, fortunately no damage. I just never fail to be disappointed by other people. I had the door mirror knocked off and left on the floor by some other kind person last year.

Fitted new airbox bolts from DSN Classics to my twin carbs (airbox itself is in progress of being restored but I ran out of paint), fitted rev counter, ammeter and battery condition gauges to NOS Smiths bracket to dash. Started updating my website.
