Rebuilt my HIF44 carb


 
Was going to fit the ball joints but one of the cups is as below ... cheers minispares.

Received the first picture of My freshly painted Vmaxscart supercharger, so fresh that it's not yet assembled haha, but I just had to share.....

Took it to a local meet in Earls Barton and then stopped for some food on the way home and parked next to another mini and hot chatting for ages. Been a lovely day

Started to change the rubber cones on my girlfriends mpi, forgot how much stuff was in the way... Only got 45cm room on each side to do this plus the paintwork is new. 😐

Oh and i can't find half my tools since I moved, might take a while. Meanwhile I'm gonna paint the rims at work. 😀

Today I will be mostly cutting a ruddy great hole in the roof to fit a sunroof :)

 

I will be measuring, measuring, measuring and for a bit of effect measuring before I start to cut anything :)

Glass tilt up type, I think from a Land Rover, Rimmers are still selling them...

 

Am waiting for the PU adhesive to cure then it can be trimmed on the roof and make it look neat....

 

I made the executive decision this morning and just stared cutting LOL as soon as I drilled the hole for the blade to go in - Thought to myself theres no going back now LOL

 

Not done a bad job to be honest, even if I say so myself.

 

Got 2 days off from work, so getting a couple jobs done on the Mini while I can and the weather is good...

It's a awesome meet with all sorts there and only £3. Yesterday was huge! Lovely chilled out meet.

Give my engine block its 4th coat of paint, if I only knew how rubbish hellfrauds engine paint is!!!!
