Took the radius arm off and got it ready for the new pivot kit when it arrives.
Caught it just in time before it collapsed I think
The other end is pretty good so I left the bush in just to see what it's like with the new pin.

Took her to work, gave her a good thrashing over the tops, then the go pro decided to fall off the car...
Think she went in a strop, temp climbed to 3/4 with the heater & fan on in motorway traffic ..

Ok then, 108bhp and 83lbs of torque (at the wheels) but most importantly, the flat spot between 2500 and 3500 revs has gone. The drivabilty has improved no end.You tease us with your RR

That's the problem with having gauges, you end up looking at them.Took her to work, gave her a good thrashing over the tops, then the go pro decided to fall off the car...

Suppose sometimes simplicity is key!
Deffo something for me to look at next though, both of mine have the same issue of getting hot quickly in traffic after a blast, though that might me be being a little paranoid..

It's interesting you mention it. I've got the same problem and I've replaced the water pump, radiator, coolant, flushed the block, tried every temp of thermostat and the classic fan as well as the export fan. At 6,000 revs it's fine but it over heats at tickover. I've now fitted an electric fan on the inner wing and just switch it on at tickover and I can't believe how effective it is. It drops the temp by 10 degrees even though it's on the wheel side of the inner wing. No more overheating.
