That first picture reminds me of Gears of War and its cogs.

took all the carpets out to soak up all the rain water that had got in and to have a look at the state of the floor panels. Think they will need changing as i can see the road. And emptied the boot and that looks rusty as well. But i will get her looking lovely and cant wait to get her on the road

Filled it up with a jerry can because somebody decided they'd like my petrol last night. Locking cap is broke, aston cover was on the floor with it but seems to be in pretty good condition still (no scratches etc.) although that will need new screws. I reckon there was about a tenners worth of petrol left in the tank. It was lucky my dad gave me a jerry can he had with him one day because if that petrol wasn't in the tank, I'd probably have filled up friday and there would be a lot more in the tank.

Really can't believe there are still people who would do this sort of thing, I'd have loved to have caught them. It's a shame they didn't set off the alarm, I'm sure they wouldn't have stuck around then. Luckily there wasn't any other damage to the car except a small scratch just below the fuel cap, but that doesn't really matter because I'm getting paint for my new arches and some other parts of the bodywork which need a touch up.

Continued to assemble my centre console for my A2 PD, until I was stopped, as my assesor doesnt like it being curved, and would prefer it to be square....

An hour of arguing later, im still confused lol :closed:

i now have a funny feeling in my gut, as i think ive killed the engine. Started revving its tits off, i opened the bonnet to see if the throttle had stuck open, to be greeted by lots of steam, and my exhaust manifold glowing bright red, now is a ******* to start and when it does its running extremely lumpy. So its now left abandoned on some random guys driveway until my friend with a 4x4 finishes work at 11.

Well today started off ok but then went down hill ....started to remove the rear subframe as i have a new one coming tomorrow ;) 1 bolt ..2 bolt.. 3 bolt ... snap ! oh well i am lucky it wasnt more, so carried on removing the subframe only to find the bolt that had snapped was sitting next to a nice rust hole that was hidden by the subframe ...new panel ordered so back out in the garage (subframe now out) I started to strip off the bits i needed to clean up and paint and fit to new subby ...found out that one of my rear cones has a crack in it :- and both the donuts could do with being renewed  then had to apply heat to nearly every nut and bolt to free it off and also to melt off all the underseal that previous owner have hidded the rust with >:o

Finally finished finding out i need new rear shocks as well .....and need to get my butt in gear as car needs to be back on the road a week friday and only have evenings now to work on it

But moan as I have and the shouting and swearing that followed the bleeding knuckles I enjoyed every minute (have i lost the plot?)

took the clubby for 2 new tyres today, had yoko 008's, so all matching now. also adjusted the air/mixture screw as it was running way to rich, but now its blowing smoke out the exuaste and a realy strong smell of carbon monoxide/ dioxide w/e. (how people can gas themselves this way is beyond me). made my clothes stink aswell. anyway i lost intrest an locked it back in the garage till it sells or i get round to fixing it. think the carb is knackerd tho.
