Fitted a pair of door pockets from Just Kampers with integrated can/bottle holders..

 

Bit cheap plastic to be honest but better than the Mini door pockets I had that didn't match in colour and drivers side was broken anyway...

 

Also fitted a floor mounted basket cup holder thing also bought from Just Kampers too, got that for Fathers Day... seems it just stays put on the floor, even though I decided to mount it into some holes I cut into the carpet to keep it to stay put... no instructions on how to fit it properly....

Got the Evacusump system all up and running.  Welded a pipe (well dad did) into the exhaust, plumbed it into a new catch tank which then connects to the rocker cover.  The breather from the cluch cover goes to the rocker.  I didn't bother with the extra breather to the carb as I'm running twin Webbers.

 

Fired her up.  On tick over tried to remove the oil cap and it was properly getting sucked down!

 

Took her for a bit of a blast, seemed to run sweeter and smoother.

Sad summer day as I will have to garage the Mini for the rest of the summer...  after work today going to get into my Mini, I about burned my hands touching the door handle, window crank and shift knob...  far too HOT and it's not even the peak of the summer yet.

Started to rebuild my front subframe. Fully powder coated, new cones, hi-lo's, arm bearings. Long way to go.

collected it from the garage after having a new rear subby fitted...and a hundred and one other bits done as well.....

Oh and a new MOT. Only one advisory, no passenger seat, yep that's because I took out the drivers seat before taking it to the garage so I could fit some new foam in it and the little fact that the current MOT didn't run out until December anyway!!!
