So a typical day in the life of a Mini.Found out that I've been driving round without bump stops and my suspension set up is dodgy and my steering rack is inackered, brake lights are out and lost my passenger side repeater 😟

If you haven't got one, buy a Haynes manual, look at some simple jobs and ask on here. There's a lot of help and knowledge readily available and you'll be surprised how much you can do at the roadside with just a few tools. Its also very satisfying.Lol, wish I had the space, tools and know how, to do it myself.

got my 1st car ready for sale, i.e. get all my tools out of it, put all the panels in the car, mount the doors and see if it even fires. Sat in a shed for a year, connected the battery and it fired first time no jump. will be sad to see her go.

Oh don't get me wrong, I can bolt on most stuff, but suspension and a steering rack is a bit beyond me, especially working on the side of the road.

Just going to Lidl for a top up shop is a pleasure - roof open, sun shining pottering through the 30 mph streets and a little squirt along the 50 zone leading home. I love shopping

Took the big camper out for new boots the other day and saw a red Mini with white roof on the back of a beaver tail. Anyone having a problem in the Widnes area on Tuesday?
Today I fitted one of those hidden radio antenna as I'd welded up the hole in the wing - works better than I expected.
New boots
Got photo-bombed by a bloke with a fag

Had the daily Cooper setup and mapped by EFI Parts yesterday, great friendly service and made a top map on the car, highly recommended.

Stripped the front, rear and rear side windows out and the old headlining. All ready for the new headlining and trim, new front MPi windscreen and soundproof pads....
