Replaced the radiator - whoever designed that bottom hose needs spanking!
Ten times worse when the previous owner rounds off the jubilee clip!
I bet - I got lucky there!

Was just looking through this and thought you might like to see this,
My fathers Comer Caravanette with my 1275GT taken in 1975 at Port Knockie North East Scotland.
Hope nobody minds me posting this in this section, not doing anything on my
mini at the moment

That's brilliant - looks like a Maidstone, it was the official 'factory' conversion and one of the nicest interiors you could get. Very nice van and great looking GT
Oddly, before it was called the Maidstone, it was called the Commer Commer.

Here is another photo, wish I still had both of them, this was taken a couple
of weeks after I had tidied up the camper and repainted it,

Well today I refitted the Hi-Lo's and adjustable camber brackets..... again....
Found out that its gonna need a rear subframe before the next MoT.... well I was thinking of taking it off the road for a couple of weeks/months anyway, to replace a few panels etc... will be changing the colour scheme too....

Congratulations, it looks real good, it's a great feeling when you get it back on the road.
Yip
Next job is to re-torque the head, put some ant-freeze in, line up the head lamps and book an MOT

Failed on a couple of advisories.
Front braided brake hoses needed repositioning.
Sorted this and it passed with flying colours.
Paid for a years road tax.
On the way home filled up with fuel and and now Fuel cap has just started leaking as i need a new one.
The exhaust mounting block at the front of the rear subframe has unboded itself so i now have a knock when i go over bumps.
But over all a very good day.
At last i can drive her.
Just need to soften up rear end as its very hard with coil overs.
YIPEEEE im mobile in a mini i have restored.
