Bought and fitted the following.
Auto meter Vacuum gauge on idle reads 5 hg
Auto gauge smoked lens Volts gauge on idle reads 14.5 volts
Tim Ammeter gauge 60-0-60 reads -30 amps when pressing horn. ( connected to horn for fun as i run an alternator 70 amp).
Tim Oil temp gauge reads 80 degrees on idle
Tim Water temp gauge reads 80 degrees celcius on idle
Waiting on a oil pressure gauge by tim which should arrive on tuesday next week wires are in place to make plumbing in easy.
Realy happy Result.
Tidy all my crap out of the car ready to make it road worthy.
Next stop after oil pressure is m.o.t.

Drove the bloody thing! About 200kms, returned with zero issues.
Went very well, can't wait for dyno tune now.
Why oh why have I never balanced an engine before.....so good.

I'm looking forward to driving mine, when I got my engine balanced he said everything was miles out. MOT tomorrow morning!

Tackling my clutch problem today, getting a bit of clutch drag so I've got a few bits to replace and hopefully will sort it.

Passed MOT this morning, still tackling the clutch drag. Feel sorry for my gearbox having not driven the mini for a while my rev matching isn't the best :(

Bled the clutch which turned out to be simple, fitted wiper bezzles, did a bit more cutting and polishing, filled the washer bottle with hot water and washing up powder to get rid of the black slime that had grown in there O_O , sat in the car and went brum brum :-)

Took my mini to a rolling road to get it set up since I put a stage 1 kit on, set the basics and tested the compression etc then gave it some runs, adjusted timing etc. It now runs sooo much better and feels nippier.

55 on the dyno but the mini sport filter was making it too rich too end, made 57 without filter but as im not too interested in getting every last bhp out of it wasn't worth replacing the aaa needle for a custom one I will just replace it with a k and n.

Great guy though at Bailey performance in Telford.

New Grille and grille surround. New mats. My fresh air collector has arrived, I just need to buy the air ducts and wait for the scoops I bought of eBay to arrive.

One of my headlight bulbs blew a week ago. So i got down to halfords and got two new bulbs (thought it wise to have a spare).

Got jome to find that the mini is still fitted with the sealed units... bugger.

Ordered to quadoptic kit off minispares, arrived today and have just fitted it. Took 57mins, is that some sort of record?

Ive also put the first layer of bilt-hamber double speed wax after having given the mini a thorough clean, clay and polish
