While it may be common to see classic minis around the UK, here in Texas it is a rare sight indeed. To my incredible surprise, I found a mini for sale less than 6 miles from my house (incredibly lucky). After bartering for a reasonable price, I purchased it. Now the proud owner of two minis with one about to start on a full restoration.

After trial fitting the centre pipe components welded it all together
Pictured on the car having had to ease the tunnel to make room for the flexi joint!! Absolutely delighted with the result; still loud enough outside but not too loud inside. I'll have to think about a radio

MPi engine out, along with engine loom, clean and tidy up of engine bay, for something slightly more spicy to be fitted..

Replaced a leaky rear wheel cylinder on NSR, along with new shoes too because the OSR shoes was soaked in brake fluid....
Will replace the NSR brake wheel cylinder tomorrow I think, just so's I know it's been done....

Got sad because the oil pressure light has come on, comes on under 1200rpm

bit of a bodge spray job on the wing, whrere i draged down the wall getting out the drive. all done thanks to panle wipe and a rattle can :)

Started cleaning up the splatters of compound and polish off things that shouldn't have been compounded and polished - everything that isn't shiny Also wired in an inertia cut out switch for the fuel pump and made a cheeky coil cover - I don't need energy drinks so went for a more chilled look
Inertia switch is on the drivers side inner wing at the top left of the pic, hopefully the hinge will miss it when the bonnet is on
