Building a mk3 classic mini but due to Honda b18 engine i will be putting in as well as supercharger and lightweight pistons the hp will be signally greater than the standard mini engines in excess of 350bhp therefore meaning that the useable wheel horse power will be decreased due to low friction on standard mini sized wheels. I wanted to upgrade to a 15inch wheel will this drastically affect the driving of the car, camber and offset? anybody got any advice on wheel size and setting up to increase friction and therefore useable wheel horsepower

Fitted centre strap, torqued up mains and big ends, front plate and timing gear fitted, buttoned up engine to gearbox, oil pump cam and dizzy drive in, re-set the valve timing to match the MG cam - with 2 degree advance thrown in. Actually done over two days - getting there

Removed the normal foglight and replaced with a foglight off a Fiesta Mk1, to give it a stealthy look..... fortunately the profile of the Fiesta foglight fits the rear valance almost perfectly.....
Removed the reverse light from the rear valance and installed a spotlamp to the bootlid to use as the reverse light instead, was looking for a Lucas unit but none have come up for sale in my price range as yet...
Replaced the cardboard liner things that go into the rear bins, bought them a couple months ago and only just got round to fitting them, had to cut them to fit around the rollcage....
Swapped a front spotlamp that had filled up with water, rusty water.... found out that the rear bowl isnt exactly waterproof and water had got to a level that it was seeping into the spotlamp itself via the bulb holder.... when I removed the lense about a pint of water poured out.... was a bit of a surprise because the water was ruddy cold... LOL

Tried to find the cause of the oil leak i've accumulated, either the gear linkage connection, or timing case cover..
Tomorrow is the time to find out.

Will be in the garage, just hope the oil leak is something simple on the linkage aha! Put loads of sealant on the engine gaskets so stumped as to why it's leaking aha
Make sure those shelves are strong, don't want anything falling off onto the mini :)
