Bought it some new seats...

 

Classic Buckets I won on Ebay.... glad I didnt pay a lot for them to be honest, and the fella selling them was quite arrogant too....

Drove it for the first time since owning it, it's only taken 6 years 10 months....


That has to feel great. I'm glad i got to drive ours before it blew up, it's given me extra motivation to get it sorted out (that and the wife standing over me with a big stick, lol.)

Changed the right side front disc and calliper from an 8.4 to a 7.5 set up. Other side to do this evening.

Adapted a pair of Metro seat subframes I had in my shed of many things, so that I can fit my (new to me) classic bucket seats....

Fitted new verto clutch with engine in the car. tight!!!

also removed siezed driver caliper, free it up and cleaned discs. 

Now ready to test drive propperly since buying it 3 weeks ago.

Very nice...! Are the number plates from Tippers by any chance...?

 

Bought some new seats and door / rear quarter cards for my Jap spec 1275, made a start on fitting them this morning...

Plan is to add some vinyl covered door cappings and a bespoke headlining from Optimise and an extra panel of vinyl or bound carpet to the bottom section of the door cards...DSCF0215_zpspwvnfrsw.jpg

Also needs a centre console so I've got somewhere to put the CD player, might have to modify an existing one or make my own to fit around the air-con gubbins.
