Good thinking, I used a G clamp and a block of wood held to a leg of a bench to stop the box rotating.


Are you doing that in your kitchen?!

Hell no - thats what they conservatory is for ... there's a complete, pristine engine & box on a trolley hidden behind the sofa!!!! however my entire household is male ... me sprog and mog.... so probably would do

I take it the engine was built in the clean room (kitchen) and you have a parts washer (dish washer)?

I "Matured" my mini on the driveway again today. Its been a 2yr process and I think he is almost ready to be restored again ! Ill check again tomorrow ;)

Finally traced a rattle that's been driving me up the wall for months. Bulb holder dropped out of the speedo and vibrating against the housing!
