Today I struggled on with trying to put the rear drivers side suspension cone back in place.
Lets just say that once the rain came about the cone was still not back in place Grrrrrr

I am fairly new to everything so don't fully understand it all yet.
Taking my time with it all though and just enjoying the experience of both finally owning a mini and being able to do it all myself.

Not quite mini related, but I had the enjoyment of removing the dozen or so stickers that had been bonded (with the stickiest adhesive ever) to my Halfords tool boxes with a hair dryer - everyone loves burnt fingers!

I tried myself (without a hair dryer) & gave up after 30 mins!
Will try again with a heat gun at some point, but I have more important things to do first!

Need to remove the top suspension arm so the cone will then drop out...
It can be persuaded out with a crow bar and a lot of manly swearing, but easier to loosen the top arm.....
Im presuming you also are using the special suspension cone compressor too....?

It's not getting it out that's the problem as when I purchased it it was already removed.
I am trying to get it back in.
It would seem that it's just me not quite used to it yet and I'm just getting my head around it.
Going to give it another go later on and hopefully I can get it back in.

Finally got the rear suspension back in place today and got her back on her wheels.
Then sat inside with my sister and my cat kept jumping in and out of the window to sit with us in the sunset.

refitted the exhaust after it was removed by a speed bump that a range rover would have had trouble getting over
