Washed Vinnie for the first time in about a month today and found some more rusty bits. A month sat covered in salt = ;)
And I lost a dust cap :(

In other news a close friend wants to use him as her wedding car (if she can fit in with the dress!) so I better get saving hard to fix the rusty bits soon.

If she's flush, hint to her to get her to pay for the repairs
"sure I will do it for you, anything for you... I will save up my money to get the rust repaired so the car is looking great for your wedding day"
;)

replaced a side window, went to halfrauds and got a new headunit, made a bracket so i could bolt the head unit to the bulkhead, gave the mini a damn good wash, all wheels off and scrubbed inside and out, arches cleaned, raised the suspension a bit, feels so much better under hard cornering now.

Adjusted up my rear shoes, cleaned my discs and pads, checked for rusty bits, gave the inside a good going over with the dyson and gave it a thorough wash.
Even scrubbed and washed the rolled part of my exhaust tip because it was black :)

Didn't give it a "damn good thrashing" then, :D.

Finished the boot board, just got the side piece to cover.
Raised the suspension yesterday as with four adults in, the mudflaps were scraping the floor and there was barely any room between tyre and arch,
Fitted a new throttle cable as well, what a bloody stupid place to put the throttle cable, right where its impossible to get a good grip on it without taking the engine out.

Washed and cleaned the outside, cleaned the arches (then the driveway) started to wire buzzers for lights left on and indicators so i can hear them, fixed what had become a quick release gear knob as it usually quickly released between 2-3, topped up my fluids and spilt washer fluids around the boot
