I half covered my Mini (Pandora) in Silver holographic foil and took part in the London new years parade,

She made it to london, Did two and a half miles at a crawl (almost boiling over) and all the way back to the drive and only then did she die on me!

How has any one got any ideas how ro remove the Sticky stuff from Pandora? :(

took out the boot ice install, to repair the shocker mount of the so called solid clubby i brought, only to find a black bin liner full of foam that had been glued everywhere. also found that the petrol tank was wedged in with the foam an no tank strap. :( . wish i'd kept my white clubby now. the things we do for tax free hey.

Just checked over all the engine electrics and carb to try and see why is being such a sod to start once warm.

Everything on the carb including the float valve checks out ok, plus are a nice brown colour (might swap anyways) and the cap, rotor and leads all look fine. ;)

Just a pain in the arse I have to completely remove the grill and a weather shield jut to get the dizzy cap off. :D

I fitted new front and rear screen inserts today. Funny how you dont notice how poor something looks until you replace it with a new part. After that I spent about an hour cleaning my carb with carb cleaner and extra long cotton buds. I think I am losing the plot.

You can come and clean mine if you want (the whole car not just the carb) with it having to live outside and used over winter, I can’t remember the last time it was washed :D

welded shock mount, painted inside the boot, all looks good now. re-wired the ice/amp with proper conectors, all nice and tidy. just got to wait for the paint to dry now so hopefully tomorrow i can refit the tank and put it all back together.
