cleaned and rehoned the bores on the old engine, and the postmans just delivered a new set of yellow stuff brake pads, glad he has, the old ones are almost down to metal, lol, so off to replace them today.

Just wired up a voltage guage in my dash, also got all my front speakers working again!
Now charging the battery, as somehow it didn't have enough oomph to start the car!?

Gave it its first real run out with my homemade megajolt.

Took it out of the garage for a spin round the block a few times as its not been run for a few weeks. Wanted to give it a proper run really but the local roads were still wet, salty and not very mini friendly!

missed the bus going to tech and i wish i had the mini finished and thought bout different paint jobs for when its finished and how does this sound, gun metal grey body, white roof and bonnet stripes and old english white cooper s rims?

Done a nice little mod' with my rear fog light.
Removed the reverse light bulb from the offside, moved the wiring to the foglight into where the reverse light would normally be, and plugged in a red bulb. So now the foglight is in the light unit! No more silly box thing hanging on the rear valence.
Made the rear end nice and symmetrical.

Also cleaned up the block/body earth strap as it was struggling to start. - Works like a dream now!

Also got all the front speakers working again. Got fed up of just having the two rears working, so now I have those, as well as the 4 up front.

yesterday put a new exhurst on.. lcb/y piece/down pipe/rc40 twin box... very proud of myself! just got a slight blow on the middle pipe where it meets the head.. some modified washers methinks!!

I removed my cd collection from the car to listen to.
In doing so i ended up with a snow drift in my car

So i had to get as much of that out as i could.

drove 4 hours in the snow to get home, usually takes about an hour and a half!!

drove her to work took me ten mins then dug her out of the snow after work took me an hour not to dig her out to bloody find her then drove home and a record slow speed lol
