Drove it to college and back

Had a nice 60 mile round trip this afternoon taking in a bit of Surrey and Kent countryside , saw 3 other mini's whilst out

Gave the Mini a little pre-Christmas pressie yesterday for not letting me down during the sub-zero weather. Got some new mats, new clear side repeaters with chrome surrounds and some new inserts for the screen rubbers. Gave her a full on detail and she is gleaming like a new pin. I thought I had worked off the cold I had picked up but now it is back with a vengence. Sodding colds.

Thought about how nice it would be to roll the car out of the garage on its own wheels with engine and everything attached....must get the generator working!!!

Fixed the gear linkage on my mums corsa. Quick fixed a broken washer hose on her car. Serviced the trials mini and spent many hours crying at the sight of my mini sat at the back of the garage sat in primer in bits with the engine at the other side of the room. You all must have felt my pain at one time in your mini owning life

Replaced two ball joints, and also fitted a boot board kit. (Yesterday)

Put on some very old 145 12" wheels for winter-storage and layed two rather long black stripes on the street prior to parking it

Undersealed the wheelarches, bulkhead and sills. Hopefully I'll be fitting the front subframe tomorrow

Drove mine to work again & parked her next to a Cooper S Works.
They seem to be getting on quite well & are comparing Nurburgring stickers & stories at the moment.
