Sat in her adjusting my seats and found out I have 2 radiomobile speakers under my rear seats
Soon to be replaced by 6x9s and a new headunit
Also, my minispares order of my throttle spring didn't arrive, due heavy snow tomorrow![]()
I wanted to get it the barn at my dad's work today and don't want to risk the current spring coming off again whilst driving... for the 3rd time

Stick an elastic band on it aswell as the throttle spring as a precaution, or perhaps cable tie the offending end to what it clips into?
Managed to get my hif44 somewhat like tuned right, after buying a BDL needle, the standard needle was like a treetrunk

I might try and bend the end up, it's the bottom of the spring, not the bit near the carb, although I can't get the needle nose pliers in to do so... and i don't really want to take the spring off completely just yet, as this will leave the carb open and flood the engine will it not?

No, it will be fine, no fuel enters the carb or engine unless the engine is being turned over or is running
