kicked it and pushed it out the way, the starter motor broke at a petrol station. Then bump started it and got it home, with a slipping clutch and no stereo, that always stops working when it rains. And now ive decided to say ******* the thing, and am sat hre thinking to myself, why didnt i get a modern car that has a heater that works, doesnt mist up and has a radio that works in the rain.

i had a 98 fiesta ghia, but sold it as i couldnt justify paying the money the insurance company wanted to renew it, nor afford to insure two cars, and needed the moneys to sort the mini, i so wish i kept it now

I haven't been able to get mini out of the garage for over a week as I have had an operation and am not allwed to drive for a fortnight. Talk about solitary confinement. It is so frustrating. Nice sunny day today, how good it would be to have a thrash through the lanes to Littlehampton, a stroll on the beach, a bite
of lunch and a pint in Wetherspoons, then home for tea and crumpets.
All I do is sit here watching Colditz on channel 12.

Today started out very well!

Took my mini back to chap who did all the bodywork to get some bits finished, really chuffed because Mini started first time (woo!) but then got stuck in an hour long traffic jam behind an accident on the M25. Drive back was lovely and mini didn't miss a beat.

The metal front bit of my bonnet badge is peeling off so thought i would glue it hack when i got home.. Super glue everywhere, my hands, the bonnet, the grille, and very litle on the bonnet badge. Tried to wipe said glue off with toilet roll, which Ive learned never ever to do again. So given up, on eBay looking for a new bonnet badge, picking super glue (and toilet roll) off my hands. Dread to think how ill get the glue off the car.

I shouldn't have gotten out of bed this morning.

another nail in the coffin today, or should i say hole in the radiator, was about 5 miles away from work this morning, when steam started coming in the car through the dash, i pulled in, thinking it was smoke, grabbed the fire extinguisher, bonnet off, the radiator was squirting water out onto the engine, i waited and then topped it up, and carried on driving, got about half a mile from work and steam started coming through the dash again and the temperature was rising, so stuck my foot down and got it to work, made a spectacular arrival, loads of steam gushing out the mini, so its now sat at work with no radiator. The minis not really as bad as it sounds by the way :) just having its time of the month.
