welded new inner wings into place, late type with fan mountings on os, and mk1 type with no heater hose on ns. looks great just need to put wings and front panel on now. (all welding complete thank god)

started it for the 1st time since combe, all things considered it started pretty easy. Pumped the webber quite a few times and with the cold but brummed and revved fine after that

clutch feels a bit strange so when iv got the other mini out the garage ill investigate it and should be fine!

Pumped the rear tyres up this afternoon they were a bit low only had 20psi in them

I thought i was laying to far back in the seat

Did the first oil change since iv owned it...a few thousand miles too late i must admit all went well and found no nasties in the old oil

i primmerd my rear pasenger side wing then filled in some scraches and saned that down then it got another coat of primer also while waiting for the filler and paint to set i resprayed my rocker cover satin black it made a big improvement to my engine bay but thats about it

Got smoke pouring out of the oil filler cap and out of the crankhouse breathers. Im guessing too much pressure in the crankhouse. Maybe rings gone but im not sure might start with a compression test. Ill post something in technical later asking for advice.

welded up some MORE rust. seems to me that whenever i repair some, more comes through somewhere else!

Had new tyres fitted (Falken FK07E) and checked water + oil.....Everything fine and dandy

even though the weather was absolutely crap today! i washed the mini, then put it back in the garage, then polished it, so hopefully wen we have a dry day again (hopefully soon) it will go for a good run!!

started stripping it ready for a good weld up and rebuild session. funny how they dont look to bad untill you start poking at them!
